CAITLIN YOON
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
My name is Caitlin Yoon, and I am a student at Northern Valley Demarest High School, graduating class of 2027. I’ve always found peace in nature, whether through the quiet of a forest or the simple beauty of the world around me. When a family member was hospitalized for an extended period, I wanted to bring that same sense to him and others in the hospital. This inspired me to create and share the first set of Healing Cards, before they even had a name.
That experience deepened my appreciation for nature and made me reflect on how much we stand to lose as our environment continues to deteriorate. When the effects of climate change feel distant from our everyday lives, it can be easy to overlook the environmental challenges unfolding around us. Through Healing Palette, I hope not only to share nature’s restorative beauty with those who may have limited access to it, but also to empower the next generation of young leaders to understand sustainability and recognize their ability to make a difference.

I am Hyunseo Joy Ryu, and I am a student at Bergen County Academies, BCA, class of 2027. With my strong capabilities within the artistic field as a visual art academy student at BCA, I decided to join this initiative to help people with my abilities. I have experience in designing and community service through art, and want to continue that within Healing Palette. Along with the other members of Healing Palette, I wish to give positive impact to our communities through the messages in our actions.

My name is Ethan Wang, and I am a student at Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest, class of 2027. I decided to join this organization to help inform and educate people about the urgent environmental issues that have already arisen and are growing. Through my experiences in similar groups, as well as my management capabilities, I want to help bring Healing Palette to higher levels, where we can bring light and attention to issues that are affecting our Earth more than others believe.

My name is Justin Cho, and I am a student at Northern Valley Demarest High School, Class of 2027. As Treasurer of Healing Palette, I help support the organization's financial planning and fundraising efforts. I am excited to contribute to our mission of sharing the healing power of nature through art and making a positive impact in our community.
EMILY KIM
SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR
My name is Emily Kim, and I am a student at Northern Valley Demarest High School, graduating class of 2027. I first joined this organization because I felt deeply connected to its mission to promote sustainable art, advocate for environmental awareness, and create a community through art. As Social Media Director, I help share our activities, promote volunteer opportunities, and raise awareness of our mission through social media. Healing Palette has allowed me to use my artistic abilities to help people in our community. As Healing Palette continues to grow, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us!

Hi, my name is Olivia Ham, a student at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Class of 2030. Combining both my love for art and passion for philanthropy and giving back to the community, Healing Palette was the perfect organization for me to join. Some goals I have for Healing Palette going forward include working with larger organizations, fundraisers, and bringing more awareness on the environment to local communities.
